Lauria Bible was last seen with Ashley Freeman and her family at their mobile home on December 30, 1999. Emergency crews from the Fire and Police Dept. in Welch, OK. were called to investigate a fire in the home of the Freeman Family. The mobile home was a complete loss, however the investigation yielded more than a material loss, both parents of Ashley Freeman were found dead. Lauria's purse with money in it was found in the rubble. Her car remained at the home site with keys in the ignition. Neither Lauria Bible or Ashley Freeman have been seen since.

Lauria a été vue pour la dernière fois avec Ashley Freeman et sa famille dans leur mobile home le 30.12.99. Tandis que les services de secours étaient alertés pour un incendie au domicile des Freeman, le mobile home était mis à sac. Non seulement du matériel avait disparu, mais les parents d'Ashley ont été retrouvés morts. Le porte-monnaie de Lauria a été retrouvé dans les décombres, avec son argent à l'intérieur, sa voiture est restée près de la maison avec les clefs sur le contact. On est sans trace de Lauria Bible et de Ashley Freeman depuis ce moment-là.
