On the 10th of september 1996, at arround 5:30 p.m., Annika had to go to the corner's store. However, she never got there. A passerby witnessed her close to a car, with an East European niumber plate. It lokks like she has been kidnapped.

Le 10 septembre, aux environs de 17.30 heures, Annika voulait se rendre au magasin du coin. Elle n'y est jamais parvenue. Un passant l'aurait vue à proximité d'une voiture immatriculée en Europe de l'Est, d'où elle a probablement été enlevée.
